画家川田祐子は、鳥のさえずりに耳を傾け、自然から様々な気づきをもらいながら、絵画制作を続けています。 制作 2011年までは、スクラッとハッチング技法での即興的な細かい描線から、自己の無意識下の原風景を抽出していくアクリル絵画。 2009年からはデジタル化していく社会に備えて、絵画作品の接写画像をデジタル加工するセルフカバーアートを制作するようになる。 2012年からは自己の内面の投影と捉える外界を抽象的に抽出していく絵画へ転換。 2016年からは油彩での可能性を追求する作風へと移行。 2017年からは様々な描画材を研究しながらドローイング制作にも取り組むようになる。 2020年からはアトリエに銅版画プレス機を備えて、主にメゾチント制作を始めるようになる。
