軽井沢には、いまも豊かな湿地帯が点在しています。
その中のいくつかは、人の手によって貯水池や人工湖となり、大切に守られてきました。
自然とともに生きていく暮らしの裏には、人々の絶え間ない努力が静かに蓄積されています。
私はこの作品を描きながら、その目に見えない「時間」に思いを馳せていました。
画面全体に広がるスクラッチやハッチングの細い線描は、私が一本ずつ重ねていった軌跡です。
静かな湖の底で、網目のように広がっていく複雑な水草。
それはまるで、目には見えない自然の循環のネットワーク、その縮図です。
この線の重なりの中から、自然の息遣いや、時間の絶え間ない経過を感じていただけましたら幸いです。
In Karuizawa, rich wetlands still remain scattered throughout the landscape.Over time, some have been carefully preserved as reservoirs and artificial lakes through human hands.Behind a life lived in harmony with nature lies the quiet accumulation of endless human effort.As I created this piece, I found myself reflecting on this invisible “time.”The delicate lines stretching across the canvas—created through scratching and hatching—are the traces of each single stroke I layered.Quietly spreading across the lakebed like a web, the complex water plants appear as a microcosm of nature’s invisible network of circulation.Through these layered lines, I hope you can feel the breath of nature and the relentless passage of time.
